The idea of using the rose as the wandering hour was inspired by Coleridge, with his hymn to love, his poem “The Rose”. The Fl’Ora series tells time in the traditional way, while taking on a creative approach that reveals a new rose with each new hour. The unification of watch technicity and poetry just blends seamlessly together into a watchmaker’s art for every lady to marvel at.

Housed in a stainless steel 32mm case with 50meters water resistance or a 36mm 18ct. red gold case with sapphire caseback, the watch is domed with a sapphire crystal to make the watch more scratch resistant and durable. It also reveals the secrets of the jumping hour movement through an exhibition caseback for the automatic movement or a mother-of-pearl decoration for the quartz watches. The jump-hour function turns the dial by 30º every hour, thereby revealing one of the arrays of flowers on offer.

With its white stingray and python strap, the overall composition of Fl’ora is very attractive to me. Inside the mother-of-pearl dial is decorated with flower patterns to create an elegant and flora look. For some watches in this collection, the bezel is decorated with additional diamonds to elevate the prestige of the wearer.
